Environmental Management Policy
Through its “Responsible Care” Campaign, KPB pledges to complete its race toward maximizing the efficiency of its energy consumption and ensuring environmental integrity, safety, and health, earn and maintain society’s trust, and join the worldwide efforts for environmental protection by carrying out the following.
1. Prioritize environmental, safety, and health concerns at all stages of the product life cycle, from development and design to production, transportation, and service.
2. Identify and set specific targets and goals for efficient environmental, safety, health, and energy management, and provide the required resources and support for continued implementation and improvement.
3. Do your best to develop and introduce technologies that enhance the eco-friendliness of products, improve the safety of the working environment, and strengthen the health of employees.
4. Document all laws, rules, and other requirements for clear communication and consistent implementation. (Employee training is also necessary to this end.)
5. Participate actively in communication with all employees, executives, customers, local communities, and other stakeholders regarding environmental, safety and health concerns.
6. Inform customers of all possible hazards of using KPB’s products and induce them to use, handle, and discard these products safely by providing them clear information.
7. Maintain good relations with all stakeholders in order to solve environmental, safety, and health problems and develop required technologies.
8. Ensure the stability and reliability of the environmental management system by authorizing the Environment and Safety Team Manager as the CEO’s representative and having him/her conduct regular tests, monitoring, and inspections with the goal of ensuring that all goals of environmental management are met.
